Neil Dipaola
Neil Dipaola is an accomplished real estate strategist with expertise in coastal land use, sustainable design and urban planning. Mr. Dipaola is the CEO of Mesa Lane Partners, a diversified real estate investment firm specializing in the development of environmentally sensitive student and university housing. Neil graduated with High Honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara with dual degrees in Environmental Science and Public Policy & Ethics. Early in his career, he worked as a land strategist at the renowned planning firm Schmitz & Associates based in Malibu, California where he advised clients on a number of high-profile coastal land use issues. Later, as a project manager for the Towbes Group, Neil helped a team successfully plan, entitle, and develop a variety of single family and multi-family projects in Santa Barbara and Ventura County. Neil later led development and planning operations at TCMC, a premier architecture, planning, and development firm in Santa Barbara.
Neil is active with numerous Santa Barbara based non-profit organizations including the Environmental Defense Center, Old Spanish Days, and is a guest lecturer in the Environment Studies Department at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
