Social Venture Partners places significant emphasis on educating and mobilizing Partners as a community of lifelong, informed, and inspired philanthropists.

• Best practice resources developed across SVPI network
  

Examples of SVPSB Partner Education:

• Foundation giving – program related investments
• Understanding the issues surrounding our investment areas of focus: low income housing and homelessness; energy and the environment
• Nonprofit Financials – how the new IRS laws impact non profit financial reporting
• Lunch & Learn series for Partners – best practices as a volunteer in our investment process
• Collaboration in the Nonprofit Sector
• Collaboration with other Foundations
